So...i had my 2020 for almost 5 years. Went to a car for barely over a month, and now back to a 2025 gladiator.
I have noticed when i look at my truck that the bed sides are not as wide as the front cab. Has it always been that way? I swear I dont recall looking in my side mirrors and seeing the body line not matching all the way from the cab to the bed end. I could have swore they always just sat flush with each other width-wise?
Am I losing my mind?

My bed is slightly narrower than the cab as well, and it also sits maybe 1/4" to 1/2" closer to the driver side. I'll probably pull the bed bolts and shift it over eventually, but the decked is in... so, not soon.

The slight narrowness bugs a little, but not as much as the offset, lol.

They have always been that way, I noticed it on my 2020, so checked the Mojave when I got it and it’s the same. As well as my brothers 23 rubicon. So next time I was at the dealership getting filters from the parts dept I walked down the gladiator row and was checking them but yeah it tapers in towards the front of the bed and is not as wide as the cab.

It is common for there to be a small misalignment on the bed. But loosening the bolts is easy enough, it is actually getting the bed even side to side and the gap between cab and bed even that takes a bit of doing. There is a plastic alignment dowel at the rear of the frame, near the left rear bed bolt if I remember correctly. If it is left in place, the gap between the cab and bed may become uneven if the bed is shifted sideways to even the alignment with the cab. This may not occur on every Gladiator, because of how the cab and bed sit on the frame, but it is something to consider.

No you are over thinking it. Just drive it and have fun. I have disliked the rear end of the JT since it came out. Looks like they just stopped caring when the designers got to that part.
