Vehicle: 2021 JTRD
I got a lot of inspiration from this thread
I think having a diesel made my install a little easier as the fuel tank is on the driver side.
Parts I used:
6 Gauge 6 AWG 15 Feet Black + 15 Feet Red Welding Battery Pure Copper Flexible Cable Wire - Car, Inverter, RV, Solar
103004 Battery Junction Box Red and Black Stud (black stud not used)
BULVACK 80 Amp Circuit Breaker with Manual Reset for Car Marine Trolling Motors Boat ATV Manual Power Protect for Audio System Fuse, 12V-48V DC (80A)
My biggest concern was passing power through the cab. I used an existing plugged hole:
This is passenger side-ish, under the fold-up part rear of the rear seat.
My power cables run down the passenger side frame rail and are zip tied to another wire harness. I then used the plug as a grommet (drilled big enough holes to passe the cables through):
(looking towards the front of the vehicle)
Once inside, the junction box was used for + and the seat bolt used for - :
Junction box is tuckable to allow full seat operation:
And another ARB is installed using 813 bits!
