Hi, all!
My name is Trevor and I am a first time Jeeper. I am waiting (impatiently, like the others) on a Gecko Green Rubicon. As my avatar suggest my wife and I are big Futurama fans and she joked that the gecko color resembles the Planet Express ship, so I just ran with it. I have perused the forums for about a month before registering and posting, but since I now am in D1 status with an estimated ship date of September 22 I thought it was time to join and introduce myself.
I am located in the Gilbert, Arizona area. The beautiful scenery has inspired me to get off road and enjoy it in a more close up way. That and seeing roughly 40 or so wranglers everyday on my drive to work helped to influence me as well, hehe. I am not looking to doing any serious, hardcore rock crawling, at least for now because I am sure many a Jeep owners said that at first, but more just trail riding and exploring. I welcome any and all recommendations on local areas, clubs, meetups, etc... I am excited to be a part of the Jeep community because it seems to be a very close knit community. I wish I had a photo of my Jeep to share, but it sounds like the forums will be bombarded by Gecko Greens here in a few weeks!
I look forward to receiving delivery and experiencing the Jeep life! Nice to meet everyone!!
