Getting ready to order a set of steps or rails, what I really need is a step. My son and wife will need a good step to get into the vehicle. I also like the idea of the step adding additional side protection from rocks and debris along the paint. I don't plan on heavy off roading, just moderate trails. This really is more of a tow/fun truck. I have read everything I can on side steps/rails and have come to the conclusion Mopar might be my best bet or a set of JCRs. I was thinking of another set but read some bad reviews. I would love something easy to bolt on and enjoy. Pictures would be appreciated. Budget $600 (+/-). Would look at Roam but they're not under production yet. Love the look.

Yeah I got an email from LOD and $1k for a step is a bit more than I'd like to pay. I still have it up and am thinking about it but the canopy comes first.

I just ordered a set of Rhino rack DSS slider/step these are the best I could find incorporating both. I started with rhino rack standard steps but these would be a hazard on the trail since the hanger sits lower than the bottom of the step.
Have to keep the wife happy with a step.

Rock Hard gives you strength, moderate weight, solid steps (put 1" wide Shur Tape on the top of the tubes).
