Yeah, thanks. I would do the same but my wife is only 5'1" and she really needs the steps. My question is a bit more technical: has anyone compared the shear strength of the rock rails to that of the side steps?
Just did so Sunday. Steps can take a beating. The outer plastic will break on hard hits but the inner part works fine.

Edit: they are hollow. Felt solid when I installed them but dropping them on the ground to loosen dirt indicates otherwise.

I didn’t realize they were plastic on th outside! Is there a way to remove the plastic so that can be reattached?

Upon replacing these with rails I reassessed and think they are just really heavy plastic
