Just bought my son a Pi 5 and it seems to be broke straight out the box. He's 14 and know tons more than I do. Here's a link to a video where he went through all sorts of steps to trouble shoot. Anybody want to comment any ideas?

Whats wrong with this Pi 5?

You posted this awhile ago, so you may have already found your answer, but I would try flashing a new Raspberry Pi OS onto the SD card. The video showed it working on a RPi4, however, I don't believe the RPi5 is compatible with prior versions of the OS.

Well, sorta. we were talking to PiSHop.us (we bought it from them) following their troubleshooting instructions. It was a fresh OS for a Pi 5. I was under the impression a Pi4 couldn't handle it as well, but it did, so who knows. They were as confused as we are. So they've told us to send it back to them. They want to test it. SO at the moment, it's in the mail. Thanks for answering this. It is a little off the wall for a jeep forum but the Pi Forums are so stuffed with acronyms I can't tell my head from my tail there, lol
