This is either going to get a lot of love or hate...and I am ok with it. But here are a few things to take away from everyone's outrage.

1. Get over this whole cancel culture. I personally love my Jeep...regardless of who endorses or who doesn't endorse it.
2. If you can say there is no rift in our country...then continue to live that way. If you recognize there is an issue...continue to live that way or make a change.
3. If a celebrity can upset you more than your neighbor...then don't support them...and you might want to re-evaluate what's actually important to you.
4. It's ok to have your opinions...it's not ok to force others to believe in your opinions. This goes for commercials and individuals.
5. Big Trouble in Little China was one of the best movies of all time!

Did I think the commercial missed the mark? Sure. Was there a positive message to take away if you wanted...yes. Was there stuff to be offended by? yes. Just depends on what you want to focus on. You choose what you want to focus on. The end.

I’m not sure what the marketing teams for these large companies like Jeep think they will gain from getting near a political topic. On the flip side It obviously is getting attention but so did the groundhog commercial and the Wrangler JL commercial from a few years ago both of which were entertaining and much more enjoyable to watch.

I miss the simpler days of the budweiser frogs.

- I like Bruce Springsteen's music. I really dig it and I've been listening to it since the '70s.

- I like Bruce Springsteen. He is guy who genuinely came from a lower-middle-class, blue collar background in a lower-middle-class blue collar town. Therefore, when he writes about lower-middle-class people from lower-middle-class blue collar towns, he speaks with credibility.

- I don't always agree with Bruce Springsteen's opinions. So what? Dollars to doughnuts, we don't agree with the opinions of any artist we like. For example, I like Ted Nugent's early music. And I agree with some of his opinions. But for the most part, I think he's a complete shithead. So what. I still like his early tunes.

- The Jeep commercial was not about, "We won, so suck it up". It was about the fact that many people are profiting and benefiting from dividing us. They are convincing us that the people who disagree with us are evil incarnate and we must therefore not compromise any fraction of an inch lest our world be consumed by said evil. This is complete BS.

- The Jeep commercial was politely pointing out that all this divisive rhetoric isn't helpful. The Jeep commercial was reminding us that it is possible to disagree and still get along. That's what America is really about; different people living together and getting along. Unfortunately, over the past decade or so, we've assumed an attitude that anyone who disagrees with us must be destroyed. That's not American. And that's not Jeep.

- Also, just because something has a red star doesn't mean it's Communist. I hate Communism. But looking for Communists under my bed is that same old McCarthyism nonsense.

I completely agree with this. The part I can not get past is that the celebrity featured in the commercial has truly been an outspoken author of his very own "divisive rhetoric".

Anybody hate the jeep Super Bowl commercial as much as I did.My family has been buying Dodge and Jeep products since the 1920s, including at least a dozen jeeps beginning in 1946. I just purchased a new gladiator Rubicon diesel and I’m tempted to return it.

I’m sick of washed Up singers,Movie stars and so-called celebrities preaching to me. The whole re-United States of America thing was an insult. What does anybody else think
I think you are part of the cult of tRump.

The commericial was about as convincing and real as the inaguration speech. Actions speak louder than empty feel good words which obviously hasn't been the case....this commerical isn't any different. I like Bruce Springsteen for his music and could give a rats ass about his political agenda. The fact that this country is quite literally split down the middle with Jeep putting out this commericial just doesn't seem to wise; especially if trying to draw in new customers.
