Anyone been able to order a 2027 Mojave X in Earl yet?

Paint line has limited capacity for variation, so they stagger the colors over the year.

Especially when it's an odd color that would sell in low volume anyway.

Then they can pretend it's "exclusive".

Highly true. I bought my 24 JTM on 25 Jan, 2025. After nearly a year sitting on the lot, I got it for nearly 16K off MSRP. Add to that I requested full change of hoses, belts, tires and everything degradable, I got a hell of a deal on the EXACT Gladiator I wanted, with only 20 miles on it. I was lucky in the fact that they had not decided to sell that particular truck off to another dealership to clear lot, plus the fact that no one under a certain age demographic wanted to buy a manual transmission.

Again, it was the factors of time and luck, but if you wait until after December, you can most likely pick up that purchase of a 26 JTMX with all the bells and whistles you want, minus the Earl paint scheme for a tidy discount.

Like it was said above, when the 27s come out, their color choices are very limited. Its only until about Mar-May that the secondary "special colors" will come out, and you have no guarantee what those limited edition colors are going to be.

Be patient, and a little flexible, and you'll be wheeling with the rest of us in no time.

Not sure what state you’re in, but my local dealership in Xenia Ohio has a Mojave x for $13,000 off sticker

For that kind of discount you could have it painted any color you want

There's one about 2 hours from me that has a '41 for 11.5K off MSRP too. After my truck battery met its end yesterday, it's starting to sound like a better option than waiting for 27's.

So.... why the 2027? Obviously, I'm not UP on what's coming out.

What's different about the 2027's from the 2026's? I'm actually curious to know myself.

Mostly the Earl Color. I've seen a few Wranglers around here in Earl and I just really want one. Or maybe a shot at a different interior that comes with one of the 12 for 12 editions. But that's just me being a diva about having something semi unique. The whole purchase is more of a want than a need, really. That and just making my kid geek out because daddy has a "blue green monster truck Jeep" which just gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Earl was a color option for the Gladiator in 2023. I don't think its been an option since then, but I could be wrong.

When Jeep opens up the ordering for a new model year (such as 2027), they normally only offer a limited number of colors. They then add some additional specialty colors for a limited time throughout the year.

If your plan is to order a 2027 once they begin taking orders, your choices will most likely be Black, White, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, or the '41 olive drab green. This is based on a sneak peak of the 2027 ordering guide for the Gladiator Rubicon.

I'm honestly even keeping my eyes peeled for a solid used Mojave (or X) in Earl too.

But yeah, understandable. Really only made this post because I was getting so much bad and conflicting information from dealer reps around here. Which is sadly a thing in my area no matter what make of vehicle you're looking for. There aren't a lot of decent dealers near me and I usually wind up parading around St Louis before finding one. I even bought my current Ram 1500 from South County CDJR which is around an hour drive away.

Can't hurt to wait it out a little bit. I'm sure there will be more deals on 26's and in the meantime my loan to value on my truck gets even better for trade-in. I just have to stay away from the build and picture threads here so I don't cave early

I totally get it…. I love unique colors (within reason) and why I bought the blue. I hate all the boring colors you see on the roads.

I’d hate to see you waiting too long for something that might not exist or is hard to get a hold of. Ordering one will take soo much time and, by the end of the year….your unique color will turn into *everyone else has one* (not so unique anymore). Just buy a Gladdy and start enjoying it now.

You can always dress it up with mods & decals to make it unique.

I'm actually heading to a dealer on Wednesday to look at a Mojave X in Anvil. I've looked at a few pictures of the Mojave colored leather against the Anvil paint but I just kinda want to see it in person. None of the dealers near me have had one on the lot, but this one's semi near my work office so I'm gonna go give it a look either on my lunch or afterward. My truck started acting up again today so I may just trade It and move on. I personally don't mind waiting but not if it's gonna cost me a bunch of repairs on the truck in the meantime.

Plus if I get one now I can join team V6 and not have the potential option of the 392. I could even get a matching hood decal that says "Slowjave" as my own sarcastic way of wishing I had a hemi again lol. I think the 5.7 might be the only thing I'm gonna miss when I dump this Ram.

I owned a Ram 1500 for about 3 years. The only reason we bought it, was for better towing experience (6,500lbs). As soon as we stopped towing that much weight, I went back to a mid-size truck. I don’t miss the V8 at all.

If the JT came in a V8, I’d already have one.

Need for speed? The husband has a BMW M4. That thing is a rocket!!
It’s funny… I have to constantly remind him (when darting around in traffic). Stepping on the gas in his BMW is like a 10 year old on monster energy drinks, while stepping on the gas in my JT is like ME when I get up in the morning …slow and lethargic. You can’t thread the needle in the JT like you can in his BMW.

As sad as it is, I'm just excited about owning something fun I can throw money at. I don't even think about doing that with my Ram. It's been clear since like one year of ownership that it's not something I'm going to keep long so I've held off on doing anything to it but putting slush mats in it.

We don't really tow, so the loss in towing capability really doesn't bother me. I have a truck mostly for throwing home project stuff in the bed and I really only have a full size for the adult room in the crew cab. But I'm finding over the ownership of my truck that I don't even need that as much as I thought I would. I'm sure I'll be happy with the Gladdy as long as it doesn't become anywhere near as problem prone as my truck. And as long as it fits the kiddo's car seat (probably booster soon) then I'm good with the cab too. That one we know for sure from all the rentals on vacations.

I also haven't had anything "fast" in awhile besides the truck, but man do I miss my muscle cars. After I get the Mojave and pay it off, my next purchase is gonna be some kind of restored classic to fill the horsepower void. I figure by then it'll qualify for midlife crisis

My husband and I are already there…..
We don’t have enough time to enjoy all the toys we currently have and there’s not enough room at the house to store all the toys we’d want. That’ll have to wait until after we retire. I think a smaller house with a HUGE garage would be awesome but impossible to find around here.
