Good to know. Really, thank you. I haven’t thought about ordering elsewhere; how’s it work? Do you go pick it up and drive back or have it hauled?

I hear you on the strike. I’m also curious about the reveal and how that will or won’t impact the 25,000 on the Jeep site available. It’s a big country, I know, but that’s a huge number.
I could spell it out for you but it would be better for you to get it from the dealers posts. Go to the vendors section here and look up Koons (in VA outside DC) or Tri City in NC. I found their quotes to be within a couple hundred dollars of each other.
You can have it shipped to you once they get it if you want. It will cost you about $800 or so. I flew into DC and picked it up. Made a trip out of it with my son. Airline tickets were about $240 at the time.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the Willys possibly having a locking rear diff standard like the new Wrangler? I think they would have to add something new to the Mojave to justify the price jump, imo. Maybe a locking front diff.

I love my gladiator and the new grill is only so so for me sort of for the first time in 82 years the slots are fading away, the large screen yup that’s ok, but hard to make me jump, I feel the only thing that might be a big surprise is the hurricane engine, I might jump if it does not need premium gas. The 392 sounds great but the gas mileage is not so great in the sticker of the wrangler, I am pretty happy at 18 around home and twenty highway.
I sort of feel like I did in 1982 driving my base model Scrambler thinking they would be around forever and like two years later poof. I looked at other trucks they always need to be refreshed with the new look, and five year old models look it, Jeeps are built like they were when it all started , utility, no fancy fenders just for the new look.
So I would like to see the Hurricane low HP version and the full float rear, and I might be in trouble. We will know in four days!….Jack
