I was thinking it might be good to meet some local folks. Maybe even get a NORCAL group together. My main goals are earn some more badges of honor and learn\improve 4x4 skills... and have a great time.

I soooooo want to, but it's a 50/50 at best for me until I know my schedule more mid-March... I would be coming from Riverside, CA, likely for the April 17-20 weekend.

I'll be there, but with my JKUR. Tip, buy a RR4W club associate membership and you can sign up early to get the trails you want. If you wait the pickings are very slim.

Sounds like you been there before. So I want to try a bit harder trails like steel bender and poison spider and get a few more BOHs. Are the trail leaders generally accommodating?

Yes I go every year. Have done about 25 of them. Accommodating in what way?

I was unclear. Accommodating in less experienced drivers. Likely need spotting and tips on the best line to take.
That's really the overall goal I'd say of the event. If you are already an experienced wheeler you might have a better experience with a smaller group IMO.

Oh, sure, now I get you. Yes they are. If you've never been there you will have a better experience if you tackle some of the less technical trails the first couple days, then try some a bit more extreme as the week goes on. Trail leaders and the rest of the trail team (mid & tail "gunners") always spot the obstacles for the group.

Tomorrow is sign-up day, I better pick out a few trails!

Well having a Mojave with no front locker keeps me out of all the BOH trails with the exception of Elephant Hill but that is full as of now.

I will sign up for a few trails Sat, Sun, Mon and leave Tues & Wed open so maybe I can hook up with some folks and do one BOH trail each day.

What trail rating level do they restrict you if you only have a rear locker?

I’m doing Gold Bar Rim Thursday and Behind The Rocks Tip Toe Saturday. The latter is Behind The Rocks without the Gatekeeper, High Dive, Upchuck and White Knuckle. If done those enough over the years, time to relax and enjoy the rest of the stuff. White Knuckle is basically driving off a cliff. In a modern Jeep with wheelbase there’s not much drama to it, in a SWB Jeep it was a bit disconcerting.

Did a quick look at the following traing are restricted to me. Steel Bender (6), Poison Spider (6), Metal Masher (7).

The weird thing is I did Hells Revenge/Hells Gate (6). A few times I took a easy line and had no issues but I was with some experienced folks.

I am planning on posting a thread to see if some forum members want to try the trails above as a group.

Here are the trails I am signed up for currently.
Hotel Rock - April 12, 2025 Sat
Jax Trax - April 13, 2025 Sun
Tommyknocker Trail - April 14, 2025 Mon

I imagine you’re restricted on Cliff Hanger and of course Pritchett Canyon, too.

I haven’t done your last trail but the first two are great. Jax Trax starts off a little slow but starts getting your attention the further you get into. Theres one very steep climb & descent near the end that’s got a bypass. Hotel Rock is southeast of Blanding, definite worth the drive down there.
