I have noticed, at times, my JT feels like there is a brake dragging or something? Today after getting home from running some errands, I washed my truck, when I got to the front passenger wheel there was a noticeable steam cloud coming from it after hitting it with water! I felt the rotor and it was noticeably warmer than the drivers side rotor? Just wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience? I'll definitely add this to my list for my upcoming service visit.

Now I'm curious. I'm still new with my Gladiator, but there have been moments where I frantically grab my emergency brake to make sure it's off. Pulling out of my driveway, I sometimes feel like there is a drag. Also driving around my neighborhood, I normally speed up to 20 MPH and then slow down to 15 or less for the speed bumps. But I'm a little surprised with just how quickly the Jeep slows down on it's own just by letting off the gas.
My MPG is about 15.5 right now with only 500 on the O. I'll have to keep a close eye on this because maybe I'm not just crazy.

I have had this with my left front caliper, checked with a heat gun and it was much hotter than the other wheels. Has happened a couple of times, with 6 months of no issue between it happening

I feel like I am having the same issue. Its incredibly frustrating to say the least. I have checked my brake shields to ensure those arent hitting my rotors, but it does feel like it slows down quite quickly. Coming from a Tesla that had regen braking, it almost has a similar feel to it.

I recently had my rear caliper fall of my axle while on the freeway. A week prior the jeep was in service at my local dealer. The dealership had not even seen the TSB 05-006-21 (Technical Service Bulletin) about the caliper bolts or just did not care.

Both the dealer and the US Customer Service 877-426-5337 are stating that TSB are not warrantable work.

I love the Jeep and what I am able to experience with it but as a Jeep owner I put up with a lot that I never did even in a 20 year old car. Keep in mind that my jeep has less than 32K!!!

If you experience this issue yourself please protect other consumers by reporting this to the National Highway Safety Administration (www.nhtsa.gov or call 888-327-4236). Thanks!

Final Results!!! Jeep Manufacturer DENIED my factory warranty but Customer Service (FCA/MOPAR/Stellantis) over ruled with a $200 copay. I have never been treated like this with any other vehicle. WOW!!!!

How far did you drive it? It had to give you some type of warning noise.

I had a caliper that wouldn't release. Thought it was pad hardware (no). Thought it was caliper (no, replaced and bled brakes). Front left. Taking it around the block made it catching fire hot. It was the internally failing flexible brake lines. System could force fluid into caliper but not escape. Went to dealer. Brake lines on back order for multiple weeks. This kind of signaled to me I'm probably not the only one. I asked about third party. Parts tech said do what you want but nobody is going to get you lines within a week. Called Synergy. Had new lines in like 36 hours. Love them brakes feel better than new. My gas mileage went up 3-4 mpg. This tells me failure has been at it for a while. I too had that occasional come and go dragging feeling. Not anymore.
