Looking at rock rails for my gladiator. Came across these rough country ones. I do want something with a small place to be able to step on. If anyone has them how do they hold up? I really like the styling of them.

Those look good and look functional.
A big step up to climb in but
I like that they cover the pinch seam.
But $500!

I know rough country makes their stuff in china but having a hard time finding anything american made that doesn't cost a fortune. Rocky road outfitters has a set but they only ship to a freight depot and they want an extra $200 for that on top of the $900 for the rails. The welds on their rails look kinda sloppy. Anyone have other sources for american made gladiator parts?

If a person is merely interested
in rock sliders instead of steps
many Rubicon owners
remove theirs as I did
to install steps of some sort.
Used OE rock sliders can be found
for zero to $100.
I have some but shipping
may be prohibitive.

I like the Patriot series. They say free shipping but under the price it says +$150 oversize charge.

So bought the rough country rock rails. really like how they look. One tip though they don't mark which rail is driver side or passenger side. The holes for mounting the rear bracket is closer to the end of the rail than the front bracket. Couldn't figure out why the brackets were not lining up where they are supposed to. They mark the brackets for which side they are for but not the rails.

LOD Destroyer. Maybe more than what you're willing to pay. I love them. I've had them for two years now. Not a single speck of rust, follows body contour, frame mounted, wide enough to keep mud off doors, grippy steps, and made in USA.
