Depends on how much lift you are going? We are going to be moving up to 38's when we replace tires, but NItto doesnt make a 38, so we are going with milestar . Our current setup, we love it tho, tires are not loud at all and grip really well.. Rims we have smashed the heck out of them and they are holding up.

i have the manual and find the pedal doesn't match my brain entirely, laggy response, or delay, not as direct and immediate application of revs when i want them or don't want them...i want snappier revs matching my fast freddy pedal work, will this gizmo help with that? could care less about cruise control issues, with manual the cruise control is still a pretty manual affair anyway
Idrive will fix it. The accelerator is computer controlled meaning that it will only allow so much acceleration for given circumstances. the I drive allows your foot to control the accelerator as it should. It is super simple. I have sold a bunch of them (have a jeep Parts business). We would install them for a demo but never took one out. Everyone bought it after trying it.

Nothing...unplug it before you take it to the dealer
we just dropped our Jeep off at the dealer with it plugged in , we will report back on what they blame for why it’s in for service

I don't want to highjack this thread but did you (@Wizzard005) or anyone else compare the IDrive to other throttle controllers?
****WORKS GREAT UNTIL IT DOESN'T****

I can't speak for the iDrive. I tried another well-known brand and after I set it up...it was awesome.

Nice throttle response. Easily dialed in to whatever level of sensitivity you want.

That said...

When it DID NOT work...well...that was a problem.

Twice it dropped out and quickly brought the Jeep down to about 15mph (in a weird lag mode).

I went out on the Internet and saw other cases of this. Granted, this problem seems to be VERY rare but I can't in good conscience take the risk (especially if someone else is driving the Jeep). So, I sent it back.

I wish I never experienced the bad side but since I have, this won't be an upgrade I will be making. Sadly...it was cool.

I just got our JT back from the dealer, the service manager says to me, why does your JT have so much power? It was funny because they thought we re-programmed the computer, and i just said its our iDrive, and he said oh its really touchy, and i said it has settings so you can adjust it to your liking.. They didnt give us any crap about warranty, they did in fact complain bout our tazer, made us unplug it and put back to stock settings :/ silly , but whatever...

As near as I can tell, it was some sort of 'misfire' of commands upon acceleration. Not sure how to explain it....dropped in speed (as if on one cylinder) and huge lag in acceleration. Both times the Jeep had to be turned off and restarted. Weird.

It really is nice. Feels like it has more power but really just more responsive throttle.
