Anyone see any issue with this setup?

Dealer called and my hydro blue Rubi will be here early November! Time is getting short to decide on some tires.

I have a set of rims already, and thus am limited on tires choices.

Rims are 18x9 with +18mm offset. Their XD's if that matters, I cant remember the model at the moment.

Tires I think I wanna go with are 37x13.5r18's Cooper Discoverer STT Pro.

Any issues with the 13.5 width rubbing when turning? Light to moderate off-roading? I'm concerned my offset isn't enough. I've read people are going negative, however I was also reading that stock is like +41mm or something, so hopefully these will still push the tire out enough. I could go 12.5's but there are fewer choices and cost more $$$ which seems weird as its less tire lol.

Also plan on keeping no lift until I can save for a good one. Considering a spacer kit until that happens, maybe 1.5 as I don't want to go too extreme with just spacers.

Final question would be smallest lift in order to do some moderate trails such as metal masher in Moab or even Poison Spider. Smallest lift would be good as other then maybe 3 trips to Moab a year, it will be a daily driver. I'm hoping a 2.5" will be enough but not sure.

Another last note will be I plan on keeping the 33's to tow a small trailer, or even winter driven as I hear they will perform better in the snow. Any issues swapping between sizes on occasion?

The good lifts Metalcloak, RK, EVO require at least 4.5 of back spacing on rims, the rims that you have would require wheel spacers. 4.5 back spacing is -16mm off set.

Are there any issues adding spacers? Anything I should know if I got say a 1.5" to make up the difference? Also not sure, would that be enough? (+18mm +16mm = 34mm of additional backspacing needed, 34mm = 1.34 ")?

A couple of the vendors here Northridge 4x4 for example sell spacers and can tell you exactly what you need with what you have. Do it right the first time because later when you get a high quality lift you do not want to have to redo things and spend more $$$$.

I have been going thru similar decision making so just sharing thoughts.
My EVO 2.5 Enforcer Stage 4 Plus requires 5.0 "MAX" BS.
I believe 1.5" adapters would get you to appx -20 which should be plenty.
It will poke your tires out quite a bit though...
Trying it first may be the best as there are several factors involved.

You shouldn't need spacers with the 13.5 tire but why not go 12.5
I ran 13.5 on my last jeep and ill never do it again. Heavier. Larger contact pacth which meant more friction with the road and they pulled worse than the narrower tires. 12.5 is max for me

Agreed OI
As you know I was toying with it for a day or so LOL but have decided to stay with 12.5s because of what you mentioned. Also, most seem to be E rated which is a ride concern as well.

I was going with the 13.5's as 12.5 with 18in rims are scarce. Only really liking the Nittos and they are an extra $300

I'm planning on running 37 x 12.5 x 17's on my Rubi with a 1 1/2" leveling kit, 2" bump stops front and rear. Was told this setup worked without rubbing on an overland model, so with the high fenders on the Rubicon, it should be a piece of cake!
