I'm looking to beef up the track bar mount on my truck and saw that Metalcloak is offering a bracket now that looks very strong. Anyone try it out yet?

I have one sitting on my desk.. I'll get it installed sometime soon. The JLWranglerForums has a pretty healthy thread on it already. Positive reviews.

Thought about it but opted for SteerSmarts. Not a fan of drilling my own holes into the frame.

The steersmarts is the other brace I'm looking at because it also takes care of the sector shaft. I like the sealed bearing design on that versus the bushing that companies like synergy use.

With the steel box, box flex isn't as drastic, so the sector shaft brace is less important. If you still want a brace, metalcloak has one of those too, and the combined 2 parts is still cheaper than the steersmarts. And doing it in stages gives you an idea of what is flexing.

Drilling 2 holes in the bottom of the frame isn't that big of a deal.

The Metalcloak sector shaft brace doesn't look like a very solid design to me and it appears to use a dry bushing, which I don't want. You just can't have it all I guess
