I like what I’m seeing so far. Looking forward to seeing after it warms up on the sun and relaxes a bit. Thanks for posting.

I started to install the topper tonight after work. It’s only 40*F here in PA today though. The canvas is too tight to get on the frame properly.

I’ve had a Couple of other brand soft bed toppers on other rigs in the past. The canvas was always really tight in the cold. I’ll get the fire going in there tomorrow and try it again.

So far, I’m really impressed with this topper. All powder coated aluminum square tubing construction. Stainless hardware, canvas seems to be high quality, zippers appear to be robust, etc.

There are a lot more parts than I thought, but it’s a pretty straight forward project.

I have a CVT MT Theilsen RTT being delivered tomorrow. I’ll throw up some more pics once it’s all done.

Looking great so far. I just ordered mine. I am in Arkansas, so shouldn't have issues with the cold when it arrives :)

Awesome! Will definitely appreciate your thoughts.
Had some time this weekend to put it together. Here are my thoughts

I'm not great at putting things together and the directions could have been better. So take installation with a grain of salt

A few times I had to stare at the pic to make sure I was using the correct part because there are none to the stickers on the parts you'd normally see.

My buddy and I goofed on a part and it took us like an hour and a half to realize our mistake (better directions would have prevented that).

Due to the cold weather it hasn't fully stretched yet.

I'm wicked happy with the purchase. A soft cap with a rack is exactly what I needed. I think once it stretches it'll be perfect. Adds so much utility to the Nacho. The waterproof design it awesome

8/10 for quality (can't go 10 till I've had it for a bit, and magnets hold up the sides when you roll it up, not sure how they'll work in the real world)
9/10 for parts (wish they gave me an extra bolt or two)
6/10 for instructions (online pdf they send you was helpful)
10/10 manufacturer.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Why does it look like the back is higher and slanting forward? Have any better pics. I have the soft top too and was interested how it looks.

Nice looking Nacho! The top rail of the rack should be elevated. At least it is in all photos I’ve seen. If the top rail posts are underneath the canvas it may cause an issue.

WildTop update: I have had the WildTop topper in use for about 3 months. First of all, their customer service people are great to deal with. Next, the product itself is pretty awesome. Fairly simple to assemble and install. Installation and removal is easy with two people... it took some trial and error but after a couple times I have a good method for doing it by myself. Similarly, the top is lightweight enough to move by yourself, but at first not that easy to do since it is bulky. I finally have a method where I tilt it up from one end, grab the middle of the side rails, raise it over my head and walk, from there it is easy to set on the bed rails then slide into place (then just the reverse when removing). Eight bolts and hooking/unhooking the front lip is all that is needed for getting it on or off, which has been very convenience since I have been installing when needed and removing when not (so that I can take the top/doors off (I assume in the wintertime I will jsut leave it on most of the time)). The structure/canvas seem to be of high quality and though not long-tested, I think it is going to be durable. The zippers also seem of good quality. Easy to roll up the canvas on the rear or sides for access as needed. For me this was a great option. I was looking for a topper that was easy to remove that had a rack on top for a canoe and this one has been perfect for that. If you are looking for a soft topper I would definitely recommend the WildTop.

Why do you say this? It says will support 77o lbs.
Maybe static weight but I bet thats not the dynamic load. Maybe I am just paranoid but I wouldn't want my heavy RTT bouncing and twisting around on that while on rough roads. The framing just doesn't look robust enough for the load.

It is absolutely robust enough for a RTT which weighs up to 220lb. We've rigorously tested it and in fact to acheive this rating, we need to test beyond the 220lb. The framing is braced with 3mm Steel in all the crucial places.

So, it can definitely take your RTT even on those back country roads.
