UPDATE:
Managed to sort this one out on my own. JW Winco makes a dimensionally identical hinge that is cosmetically more square and IMO looks great. The part number is 237-ZD-76-50-A-SW which are the 76mm x 50mm hinges. Page is available here. They bolted right in with the original hardware without an issue.
Elesa is another option I found with identical dimensions that seems to have more worldwide distribution. Honestly these likely have the same manufacturer. Part number is CMM-L-A.50-76-SH-6 or catalog number 428613.
I believe the struts are the culprit on this one because they sit closed at a slightly outward angle which puts pressure on the hinge. The stock ones are around 40# and the 30# I picked up from McMaster work great. Even the 22# struts off Amazon I bought to test worked but only just. Will have to see if the issue comes back but I'm feeling good after the swap.
ORIGINAL POST:
This is the second version so still external hinges. I have absolutely loved this cap for the three years I've owned it and it has been flawless other than this one issue... the hinges are zinc and have begun to bow outward from the constant tension of the side doors and now the doors aren't latching shut.
Anyone with an issue like this or anyone who has replaced their hinge have an off-the-shelf version before I go making my own?
