Yes, mine did better after it crossed about 7,000 miles, it varies with driver and how it's been driven and other factors, but 1800 is a bit early to judge mpg on these.Only 1800 miles, mpg will improve. For reference, I get 16 around town and 21 interstate at 70-72. 18.something overall. And that is with 35" tires.
Mine has gone downhill of course since I added the weight of the bumper and winch and put the A/T tires on vs the H/T tires.
