AuxBeam R4 pods. 60w total (2x30). I have an amps calc says 5 amps total., (60 watts at 12 volts is 5 amps: )

Are the Aux Switches rated by amps if i am not mistaken 2-15a , 1-40a. And 1-??

can I just use one of the 15 amps AuxSitch and cut out the 40a fuse and switch that came with the AuxBeam harness

Nice modest amber ditch lights.

more pics tomorrow.

thank you.

Think 2 15 and 2 40 are on the aux, I think. Don't have them on my gladiator. But yeah you could just cut them off and wire direct. I have aftermarket switch bank that has a wiring box with relays and fuse bank. I just cut off the fuse and relay as long as less then draw for the relay and then match fuse to same that came with it.

You'll be OK with the 15A fused circuit.
The fuse is there to protect the wiring, so 15A won't be overkill. Just connect the lights and don't mess with the fuse.

That's what I did. Just cut the fuse out wired both lights to one of the 15 AUX buttons. Works great.
