Changing diff covers on my 23 Mojave. Found fluid weight (75w85) in owners manual but not capacity.
Anyone know?
Thanks for your time,

Get two quart containers for each axle to be sure, but some get away with using just three total containers split between the two axles. And use 75W140 according to the axle manufacturer, especially if towing according to some factory service manual info.

And the new diff covers may have a different capacity, so you probably should get 4 total quarts instead of 3, just to be sure. And watch the fill levels. You probably want the final fill level to be a similar height as the original, even if the diff has more capacity.

1.09 quarts for front

1.53 quarts for rear

Like others mentioned, get 4 quarts but expect to have at least a 1/2 quart or more left over.

Attached is service data fluid specs but they will list capacity in pints and liters.

Thanks Hootbro. That is an excellent chart. I printed it out for future reference.
Thank you.
