So I have unmarried and removed the Tazer. Also did a factory reset on the UConnect. Woke up this morning and still a black screen on first stop of errands. On the next two it works. So it's not the Tazer. I did bypass the aux battery about a year ago because I was getting all these funky issues with the camera, radio and even a service transmission warning. Only thing that lingers is the backup camera not only being a black screen intermittently, but also way worse quality than the front. Does anyone think this could be a main battery issue even though it's 13.8 volts up to 14.2?

You need to check the voltage with the engine off. A fully charged battery should read 12.8 volts. Anything below 12.4 is not good. The reading you're getting shows that it is trying to charge the battery.

Since you have front and rear cameras, there is a video box that connects them to the head unit. Poor quality on only one camera would indicate a problem with the camera or cable, or with the video box.

When the head unit is reset, it can take up to 24 hours to fully recover. In your case, it's either going to be a dealer visit, or replace the rear camera and see if it fixes the problem.

And the odd part is the camera quality in the rear is heat related. If it's cool it clearer. Like in the morning it's totally different than late afternoon.

It goes in Monday for the camera. It hasn't worked at all in 2 days. Not even once. Went from 80% working to 0% since being at dealership which I'm sure thats just a coincidence. To me, something in the hardware has died.

So after going in on July 27, they found some code with the radio. It took about 3 weeks to get the parts. They decided to take an atomic bomb and replace the whole head unit, a couple wiring harnesses, the backup camera and two other things. It's basically the whole thing front to back. Hey it's not my money. They will also be replacing my rear view mirror which has rattled loose. Just hoping I don't end up with a ton of rattles. So I unmarried my Tazer again for the 100th time and unplugged it with the typical difficulty in plugging back in the SGW harness. Let's see how long this takes them to complete and if it fixes the issue.

So they replaced the wiring harness, radio and back up camera. It works as of now. My backup camera is still blurry. It's been like this since I drove it off the lot. Its more blurry when its hot and less when its cold, but still not as clear as this 2026. We checked a 2026 and it was incredibly sharp. The crazy thing is my front camera works flawlessly and is super clear. They have no idea what else to replace. They said they could open a star case, but I would have to leave it and it's not worth leaving because it is working at the moment. Although I have zero faith that it will continue to work. Maybe @JeepCares can help.
