I don’t know of any rack that won’t support a tent.
The first question you’ll have to answer is what kind of tent you want to get and will that work with a half or full rack. Most tents that pop straight up or hinge in the front are longer that 5 feet so you’ll probably want a full rack for them and have the tent cantaloupes over the rear cab unless you have the tent stick out the back and you’ll bump your head every time you reach for the tailgate.
If you get a tent that deploys from the side and folds open like a few above then you could use a half rack. My issue with the half rack is that it limits what you can put inside the bed.
The full rack will raise your center of gravity and very slightly decrease your fuel mileage but unless you’re planning on leaving your RTT on full time I wouldn’t worry about it.
What ever you decide will be fine. It’s just what ever works for your needs.
