The shop isn’t booked 2 1/2 years they are playing him. Someone would have to be pretty naive to believe that. Definitely not a reasonable time for a warranty repair.

I thought the same thing. Does not make sense on any level for a normal body shop to truly be booked that far out. Insurance companies would not even deal with such a place.

The shop probably told the dealer they were 2 1/2 months out for scheduling. Even the worst insurance company in the country wouldn't make you wait 2 1/2 years to get your vehicle repaired.

Given that the warranty for corrosion is so long, I'd call their bluff and tell them to get me on the list for the body shop. Who cares if it gets worse between now and then since it's covered. Heck, get on the list for several dealers!

When I bought my new Volvo XC90 last month with the extended warranty and 100k service package they told me its covered at any Volvo dealer globally.........which should be the same for Jeep
