Best paint for repairing/covering scratches in slider?

Searching for recommendations on both scratch/gash repair and repainting.

I use rattlecan Rustoleum bed liner. I have Ace rock rails that I use it on too when I scuff them up.

^^ 100% with that recommendation.

clean the surface of general dirt and shit, then a micro fiber with some brake clean.

Pro Tip, let the can set out in the sun to warm up and it will spray perfectly.
