Hope everyone had a great 4th and got out with their Gladiator! We did and as a result we find ourselves with some early cosmetic damage -- any suggestions for the best way to repair/prevent further damage in these spots?

Thanks all!

Somebody that does paintless dent removal might can get that out but the best way to keep that from happening is to stay out of the woods these things cost to much to bash

I think the first one needs touch up paint and leave it.

I think you can get the second one out. I got a similar dent out when a knee made a dent getting into the back seat. I used one of those kits with a hot glue gun, where you attach a little plastic piece with the glue gun, then, pull it out with a puller. It worked for me.

Paintless paint removal service will also get the second one out.

I'm in agreement with Harry on the top one of cleaning then paint fill. Probably the only reasonable option. Those dang rocks do tear stuff up.
Otherwise clean, paint and drive on with it, knowing it's going to happen. My normal method AKA keep it from rusting.

Thanks all, will definitely hit the nick with some paint. May give the PDR a shot, was a bit wary of using the hot glue on the paint but doesn’t seem to be an issue based on the responses here and online searching. I’ll try to post some results.

I know few PDR guys, they only use glue pulls as their last option. It doesn't hurt anything though, they just don't use it as their preferred method.

Thanks, do you know what they prefer? Is it something I can try at home?

I really wouldn't recommend just diving in on a new vehicle. There is an art to it and it takes skills and practice. They use metal rods and access it from behind.

I'd not be surprised if the paint is as thick as metal or thicker on some panels on our JT's.
Great body work is a art, what I do is like meatball surgery for combat..... Just keep it alive to make trip to the rear.
So let us see the end results
