Bestop Soft Doors and What Mirrors Do You Like?

I just purchased a pair of Twill Bestop Soft Front Doors. I plan on keeping the soft doors on until October. I am not interested in the mirror kit from Bestop because I want the mirrors off the doors so they are there with or without the doors. I've been looking at the coyote mirrors, they seem to be the best option for what I am looking to do. I have heard they are hard to use with the doors on, but I am not concerned with that, I just need them to be "street legal". I also am not interested in the Doors-Off Mirror Kit by Mopar because they use the top hinge that will be utilized by the soft door when it is on and they are almost $300 compared to $125 for the Coyote.

So my questions are:
1) Am I correct in that the Coyote Mirrors will work with the Soft Doors on?
2) Does anyone have a better suggestion for mirrors with what I am looking to do?

Following this as well. I’m interested in getting soft doors so I can easily remove them for trails. How do you like yours? I’ve had them in a CJ, but worry I’ll miss the relative quiet of real doors and windows on the highway.

I’m currently using a spare set of quadratech round jk mirrors that is utilizing one bolt like the coyote for running no doors. Works fine.
Soft doors ordered for jt. I have them on jk for summertime.
Road noise- yes but better than with doors off.
Leaks some- yes, only when raining
Top of door flaps some when above 55mph. More flap if windy. I use a rubber wire tie on jk to tie off to visor for long trips.
When soft door swings open will push mirrors out of alignment. Not always but predominantly.
Anyone that has driven a 70-86 cj soft top will understand although they are an upgrade above that but not much.

All that being said, I love them! It brings back the days of what original jeeps were as the ultimate utilitarian vehicle. If you plan to run doors off more than on but want these in case of inclement weather you will be fine but not meant for everyday highway driving.

I have not put the doors on yet, so I will let you know. I just had surgery so I need to wait 3 more weeks before I can put them on.

Others on this site have said you need to bend the top half of the door so it pushed up against the door jam to make a tight seal. When I ordered the doors directly from Bestop they assured me that I could not mess this process up and if I happened to do so the doors have a 1 year warranty and Bestop would replace the doors. The nice lady at Bestop said I need to put my knee in the middle bar of the door and then pull the top of the door to me. This will cause the door to sit tightly against the frame and reduce any flap, noise, or leakage. We will see.

10/4. Done all of those that you mention. These may be different than the jk but doubtful. Mine for jt should arrive within 2weeks.
