So I installed the 5160s all the way around. My question is on the front they send an offset bracket to adjust the angle of the shock towards the tire. I couldn’t find any pics of the bracket on anyone’s install online. Is it really necessary? Does it do anything? Thanks for any input.

It appears the bracket is only included in the 3.5-4" shocks. Outside of Metal cloak with a bracket that turns the lower shock mount 90 degrees, I've never seen an aftermarket suspension manufacturer make a similar bracket. Doesn't it seem like it would put extra leverage force on the OEM shock mount? I don't get it either. If you have access to a flex ramp, trying leaving it off and seem if there is any suspension conflict. Or, call Bilstein and ask, "WTF!"

I agree it seems there would be leverage applied but since it bolts all the way through they say gtg. I did call cause at first I wasn’t going to use it lol. Drove 160miles today across various terrain including 2miles of wash board gravel at speed and I was happy with feel and handling.
