I currently have the RC M1 shocks with a 3.5 RC lift.
I am contemplating going to the Bilstein B8 5160 for a better ride quality.

If those M1 shocks are just rebranded N3 shocks then anything will be better. I had the old N3 shocks once upon a time and they were horrible. Took them off after a few thousand miles for the RC V2 Monotubes which were solid but not great. The N3/M1 shocks should be like $20 a piece, that’s how bad they are. And the V2s should be the price of the N3/M1. Just my opinion.

If you like a firmer ride then I’ve been told Bilstein is the way to go. I’ve read that Rancho RS9000 adjustables are softer if you prefer that feel. Fox 2.0s are also a common go-to for softer ride if you want to spend a little more.

I recommend you search around the forum and search owner reviews on YouTube. Shock Surplus has a few good comparison videos on YouTube that should help you out too.
