Blue Box displays when playing Pandora over Bluetooth

I just paired a new phone a few days ago, now on the U Connect 8.4 screen, I get a blue box....on the previous phone it just showed a static Musical note. Both phones are Motorola 5G, the new one is just a couple years newer. Its not a big deal, everything works but the blue square just seems odd. Any ideas what should be showing there?

That’s supposed to be “album art”. Changing with each song or with each channel just depends on the app and the data it sends.

I've got the 7" and I have no problems. Of course my phone is older. Have you tried just tapping the screen?

Does the Album art show on your phone, when not connected to the jeep?

Yes it does....and I get the album art when I use Android Auto (wired)

It's a limitation of the Bluetooth implementation. It will only push data over a wired connection. If you want the Album Art to display, you have to connect it with the USB cable.

MY 2024 and newer have an updated head unit and software that is more capable than what was provided for MY 2023 and older.
