So I have stock Bridgestone Dueler A/T 245/75R17 tires on my one month old Gladiator. I noticed a solid white band around the inner surface of the tire (below the tread) that just seemed odd. I've seen the painted on manufacturer's markings around the outside of a new the tire that is on the tread itself and wears off after you put a few miles on them before. So I thought that's all this was. But it doesn't look like paint, looks like an actual band. I searched online and looked at a bunch of pictures and don't see anything quite like this. Everything I saw had the typical blue or red very thin bands around them. All four tires have it and its a perfect circle so I assume it has to be ok. Can anyone confirm this is just the normal manufacturer's marking that's there and its just worn off the tread?
