How do these tires compare to you folks? Anyone know which is better on ice/snow?
My Sport S Max Tow started out on these wrapping alloy wheels. I traded with @Jake for his steel wheels and H/T tires. I can't personally tell a difference on pavement. How about off-roading? I have a set of M/T tires but right now there are several sets of takeoffs from Sport models going for $500.
I have a set of Falken M/Ts in 255/75/17 on some Sport alloy wheels that I have yet to test out (cost me about $500 total also). Would these be good enough to have in addition to the H/Ts or should I go ahead and get a set of A/Ts to rotate?
What prompted me to ask this is I had to go up hill on a gravel/dirt road today. I didn't feel quite as confident grip wise on the H/Ts as I did on the A/Ts, made me wonder. Might have just been in my head, from what I have read/seen in vids there is not MUCH difference between H/T and mild-A/T tires like the Duelers
