The nut was long gone, so can’t say for sure. I figured if it failed might as well replace with better.

Someone forgot to torque that nut down properly. There's no replacement that will be "better" if the nut isn't torqued down.


No mechanical parts failed in this thread. Both issues were user error and the same problem will happen with any aftermarket replacement.

no worries, I was just like what did I do?, LOL. I guess I did drive it a bit but it's basically been a pavement princess since the lift.
