I have a 2020 max tow sport and I have someone who wants to swap their painted fenders on their sport.

Will the sport painted fenders fit on a max tow?

Yes, the Max Towing package comes with unique fenders that are only used with that package. They are two piece, and they have a lip that gives better coverage for the wider axles.

They are only offered "molded in color", i.e., they are molded in that grey color. They are not painted.
What Google revealed, but I’m not 100%.

I would think max tow fenders are unique or the same as what comes on the Rubicon.

There’s definitely a lip on the edge of the fenders to make it wider, but they don’t sit as high as the rubicon fenders.

Yes, all fenders are interchangeable with all trims from what I understand, it's just the support brackets inside the fenders that are different on the Mojave/Rubicon that raise the fenders up a bit on those fenders (ie the metal mounting tabs on the truck and the spots where the white fender clips attach are in the same place on all trims).

I did a little more research then perhaps others did and here's the difference. The Max Tow fenders have an additional lip for the wider axles on the edge of the fenders. It's just a plastic piece that I honestly thought was on all of them. Other then that there isn't any other difference from the other non Rubicon/Mojave models. And contrary to what was said earlier yes they can come in a painted variety, my Freedom ones are color matching.

The Rubicon/Mojaves fenders absolutely sit higher and have more clearance around the wheels than the max tow fenders. The max tow ones are far more similar to the lower trims, they just have the nicer two bulb halogen fender light (like the overland) and the lip for the wide track axle pushing the tires out the extra bit.

I have a max tow and test fit the some Rubicon takeoff fenders on mine and saw the differences first hand.
