Going to pick up a set of 5 rims/tires and wanted to see if anyone has done it before. I feel like 4 is going to be pushing it but I am just eyeballing it.

Thanks,
D

You can fit a bunch of wheels/tires in the bed, it's just a matter of how tall you want to stack them. You will also need to leave the tailgate down.

Here are five (5) 35" tires (35x10x17) in the back of mine, but I have the Mopar hard tri-fold cover, so only one fit under that.

I also carried five (5) JL Rubicon take-offs (285/70R17) the same way.

I obviously had them strapped down with ratchet straps, but took the straps off before i took the picture.

I transported five 305/65r17's in the bed loose with no straps. Four across against the cab, one leaning up against the four, tilted to jam between the tailgate at the tires. Worked fine, could have used some straps.

I dont think youll have an issue, bring some straps in case you need to leave the tailgate down. Worst case, leave your spare at home and put one under the truck.

Yup, as long as the tires are mounted in the rims I don't see an issue. Hell, with some creative stacking you could probably still move them with the rims dismounted. Here's a pic all 5 of my 37's just thrown in the bed. And a pic of the old 35's + my 37 spare because my spare rim hadn't shown up to the shop yet. Plenty of space.

When I brought my tires and wheels to the install site I had 5 35" tires in the bed and the wheels in their boxes on the rear seat. Fit with no issue. You have a 60~ inch bed. Even 4 13.5s lined up are only 54 inches long. Then the 5th just goes perpendiluar on the side of the other 4

Shouldn't be an issue at all, I had 5 37" tires in the bed of my truck. Since I needed to take them 60 miles on the freeway home, I did strap them down with a cargo net. When I took them across town, I fit the 5 tires and rims in the truck. Although the rims were in the back seat with the seat down in the original boxes.

Thanks Gents! So the ol' eye balls still got it even though I am still recovering from eye surgery. ;)
