I have Britax and it just leaned against the headrests just fine. Seatbelt method worked better to keep it tight than the latch.

Removing the head rest isn't too difficult. Do like I did and some others, order the tubes for the middle headrests and transfer them to the outer ones so you can remove the side headrests. I did it yesterday, took about 20min.

Before you know it kids will be in regular boosters with seatbelts!

I grabbed a pair of Graco Tranzitions 3in1 for my Jeeps. They are lightweight. Easy to install and remove, and they give lots of legroom for the kids. But, we mostly transport the kids in my wife's 4runner which has the bigger bulkier seats.

Thanks for the pictures. I’ve got a nearly 4 year old and a 1.5 year old, and a finger on the bikini Gladiator trigger. Now I just waste my mornings reading things like this, several months early.
