I have the Tazer mini in my Gladiator and and when my lift and 38’s were done, the tech installed the Tazer and changed tire size and it works perfect. Now I’m installing 5.13’s and I don’t know how to change the Tazer. I plan on going over the instructions, but wanted yo know if anyone here did it, I ask because I want yo be sure about how I get it yo take effect. I have heard some say 3 sleep cycles, but I don’t know how to do that. Thanks guys

Everything you need is on this page. Make sure you're on the most current firmware and read the manual.

Pretty easy, mainly just follow instructions pressing buttons on steering wheel. Will scroll through all options and the gears will come up. It was explained a sleep cycle is turning off jeep opening and closing door, waiting a few seconds, starting and repeating process.

Note: After you change your gearing on the Tazer for 5:13s, check your speedo again for accuracy. I used a radar detector for a few days and ended up setting my tire size to 37.09 for my 37" Goodyear Kevlar MTR tires... I expected the tire size setting to be a little less than 37, but, I believe the 5:13 setting might have effected the tire size accuracy a little bit...

I have the manual transmission 6 speed JTR. I believe my 6th gear is a tad lower than your 8th gear (150 rpm or so). For me, without towing, the 5:13s are perfect for 37s and the manual tranny. Cruising around 75 - 80 mph is about 2500 rpm or so. To get to 3K rpm in 6th gear, you have to go about 94 mph or a little more -- which is not something you will do with 37s. The big gain is in acceleration with the lower gears, 0 to 60 is fantastic, and when you are on the highway in high gear, you do not have to downshift on the little hills.
