Have a pretty loud groaning/metal on metal noise when turning, going over larger bumps, turning into an inclined driveway, etc.

Looked and saw that it appears the coil is somehow making contact with a bolt?

Anyone run into this before?

Can you swap around the Track arm bolt should give some clearance, bolt is in same way as my factory setup but there is more clearance and looks like aftermarket control arms, perhaps they can be adjusted ?

The bolt being used goes on the driver’s side, not the passenger side. You can just remove the bolt and flip it so the bolt head is closer to the spring and you won’t rub anything.

Hey there!

So a couple of solutions, one would just be to flip that bolt around which would eliminate the contact point, and the other would be to shorten the rear upper control arms to bring your rear axle in a little more, as it is difficult to tell through the picture but it looks like the springs may be bowing back excessively.

I also don't know if this is what would cause a noise while turning, anything is possible, but give those two things a shot and let us know what happens!

Rock Krawler makes rear coil spring correction pads but do not sell them, well they do but you have to call them to get a price. But there is a good reason why they don't sell them, RK coil springs are asymmetrical due to the heavier weight on one side because of the large fuel tank. Unfortunately, some manufacturers have non asymmetrical springs. RK does not want to sell pads to people who aren't aware of the type of springs they have leaving the buyer with one side higher than the other.

Having said that, maybe adding these correction pads should help straighten your rear coil a bit and clear that bolt?
