Needed a place to secure the dog mess containment system. So I made a couple of coat hooks. Pretty sure this only works with the hard top.
Just a piece of 1/8" by 1-1/2" Aluminum flat bar, bent at the end, and shaped to fit the position. Clears the top of the door when closed by about 1/4".
Used an 8mm I.D. x 10mm thick spacer for a bit of clearance. Shortened a couple of 8mm bolts. Taped them to a short hex wrench to get them down through the roll bar without removing the top.
Buddy of mine has a 3D printer and is pretty good at CAD. He is going to print up a couple of plastic parts to replace the aluminum hook, when he gets a chance. Mean time this was quick and easy.
If you've come up with something cool in this regard, it would be great to see. Please feel free to post up what you've done. I did a search before starting this project, and didn't see anything. My Search-Fu is not always so great though. If this type project has been posted, I'd appreciate a link to check it out.
