Code p258B (on Magnuson Supercharger Kit w/ Dave's tune)

Hello I have the Magnuson SC kit installed for awhile now it was on Dave's tune but with slight throttle the Jeep would surge. Magnuson had a new tune out so I tried it and its much smoother but lower on power output. I did get a check engine light after switching tunes and the code p258b electric vacuum pump. I check the fuse and hoses all look good. Could the tune effect any of the parameters? Anything else to check for? Thanks

Need some clarity here your title says you have an error code with Dave’s tune. Your thread says you replaced Dave’s tune with Magnuson tune. So do you have an issue with magnificent tune or did you prior have a error code on Dave’s tune?

I would clear the error clear the code with teaser load whichever tune you had in the truck that did not have any errors. Test run it and see if there’s any issues run it for 500 miles or a week or two.

If the error code does not come back, then you know it’s related to which ever one of these tunes is “” the new one. If the error comes back immediately, then you know there’s something non-related to tunes going on. Worn out part bad gas issue with the engine and some other way.
