I have a 2021 Sport S Max Tow with 350 miles. Seems like when the trans is in 5th gear and I have a gradual slow down, even a coast, then slow to turn or stop, the trans is hesitant to downshift into 4th. Its like its thinking about it and then does it. Not a rough downshift, just kind of a sudden. When I am in 5th and slow down with more braking force the trans smoothly and quickly downshifts into 4th. What it the learning period for these computers? I was going to wait until I got a couple thousand miles, maybe 3k, and see if the gradual slow down corrects itself. Definitely want to have it addressed and documented before I go with 33s. Thoughts?

The transmission tuning is a bit of a car wreck in the Gladiator. The good news is, the adaptive learning in the ZF will get it acceptable. If it is way off long term adaptives go all the way to 1500 miles. There are 16 adaptive segments based on throttle position and aggression, so if your drivong style and speeds are not the same very often it may take a long time for things to clear up.

For my tunes I remapped the whole transmission as I could not stand it anymore
