Fun fact: That's Travis Pastrana (Suburu factory race car driver and all around speed junkie) driving the "police car". The obviously far from stock subbie brat is actually his personal daily driver.
Travis is a semi-local hero here; even though he lives in MD, he spends a lot of time in Northern New England, and holds the record for the fastest accent of the Mount Washington Auto Road. It's amazing to watch, even more so if you've ever driven the road yourself.

LOL - the point is the ride, the fun of the trip not going anywhere.
Maybe you don't like a good carnival ride or roller coaster, either.

We used to take our cars, trucks, whatever, out into the empty mall parking lots at night and see how much rubber you could take off the tires.

We did that too. Until the police shows up. The trick is to shift into 2nd gear before you let off the brake pedal.
