Had the check engine light come on and ran the code. Came back as P0117 Engine coolant temperature sensor low. Removed coolant temperature sensor: Purchased a new MOPAR sensor, can’t get it seated correctly. Sensor will insert but doesn’t seem to lock into place. It has to be something with the tab on the sensor. Anybody have any experience with this?

hmm for some reason I thought those were threaded... some will have an o-ring with a metal clip that you just have to push it through to lock into place. If its the o-ring style with a metal clip to lock it in place make sure the o-ring is lubricated.

I've had the engine light come on a few times this winter - with a console message that the engine temperature is too low. This is even when the block heater is plugged in. This also disables the auto-start. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet - just wanted to see if others have run into this.

I previously had the engine light keep coming on for a faulty CO2 sensor.
