I’m in anchorage but this price seemed excessive $520 a tire!

Holy smokes. I was looking at the same tires. I ended up going with the Mastercraft Courser MXT. Got them at $270/tire. 37x12.5x17. Made by Cooper Tires, and quite a bit lighter. 69lbs each.

I'm still rolling the 33's on my JTM. Might go to 35's when these wear out, but probably not.
Still running 35's on my F250, and it'll fit 37's no problem. Heck, my 1/2 ton JT Mojave will fit 37's... But...
Not quite understanding the need for bigger tires, other than the visual appeal.

But, there's the clicker... My son put a 2" lift and 35's on his JKU. The tire size filled in the lift gain. Visually. It basically looks the same before the lift and tires. Sure, he gained some ground clearance. But other than him, nobody cares.

Save your money kiddos. Buy a winch bumper and winch. A Bubba Rope. And also a snatch block for that winch.
Looks is Coolio but it doesn't mean capability unless you get serious.

(Edit... Not looking for a fight.. I'm just being practical.)
