Cronic o2 sensor failures

I will try to keep this brief, I bought a 2024 Gladiator Rubicon in May 2024. It eats through o2 sensors somewhat regularly. Just seeing if anyone else had had this constant issue and if there was a repair that worked:

• 9/12/24 2345 miles, Check engine light, P0052 and P0152 codes. They eventually replace all 4 o2 sensors and reprogrammed the PCM per TSB 18-065-24.
• 12/22/25 13,663 miles, Check engine light, P0052 and P0152 codes. Replaced PCM and flashed PCM, replaced 1 o2 sensor.
• 07/14/26 18952 miles, Check engine light, P0052 and P0152 codes. Replaced Drivers side Cat and both upstream and downstream sensors. Had scoped cat and saw debris in the cat.
• 8/26 20200 miles, Check engine light P0052 and P0152 codes. They have had it over a week replacing the engine wiring harness. Had to order an additional sub harness.

Love the Jeep, really do, but not to happy with all the issues going on. Any thoughts? Anyone see this, have a repair? Not thrilled with the engine harness swap happening, I can just see electrical gremlins down the road.

Seeing as how the problem has consistently stayed with sensor 2/1 heater circuit high and 2/1 signal circuit high faults despite all the parts that have been replaced thus far, I'd say there's a very good chance the real problem from the beginning has actually been the wiring. Intermittent wiring faults can be a real bastard to track down sometimes, I wouldn't be overly concerned with the fix process you're experiencing.

One other thing to look for that you didn't mention, is there is a known issue on the 3.6 where oil leaks (typically from the valve covers) can seep into and foul the connector where the o2 sensor plugs into the harness.

I had a failed o2 sensor on my Wrangler. It died as I pulled into the dealership. I left with my Mojave.

Well the saga continues, 25 days ago I took my Jeep in to have the wiring harness replaced. They said the harness was in, 2-days later they said they needed a sub harness. Waited 24 days for it to come in, they finally started replacing the harness on Friday.

I get a text from the dealership asking who installed my accessories, I have KC era 4 lights and a winch. I simply replied why? The said it was because that was causing my O2 issues. To say I was mad is an understatement, I have been very patient while they struggle to solve this issue, 5 times in for the same thing. Now they are trying to find something else to pin it on.

I got ahold of the service advisor, he said the service tech told him the issue was someone spliced into the wiring harness. Well since only that dealership and I have worked on the Jeep I didn't know who would have done it. So he sent me some pictures.

The splicing into the harness the tech was referring to was where I hooked my 14 amp draw KC lights into the 40 amp Aux 1 and the 1 amp draw amber accent light into the 15 amp Aux 3 wiring in the engine compartment. This tech did not even know what those wires were for, the service advisor got a lesson on the Aux switches in the Jeep, amperage, usage etc. I am really worried that the mechanic replacing my wiring harness did not know about Aux wiring provided to the customer to connect their devices.

The service advisor is going to talk to the tech Monday morning and get back to me. I am really getting tired of this.

So your KC lights are causing the O2 sensor to fail. That’s interesting. Especially if as you say it’s on the Aux switches. Really trying to picture how this is possible.
