If anyone has seen my past post of the camp sheff box I use to store all my cooking items - i need to switch it up. This summer I realized that system is cool but is not working for me. I think a half bed (drivers side) drawer would be best but zi dont want to buy one for a couple different reasons. I have birch plywood at home and 2 spare sheets. So I wanted to build my own and go simple. My initial thoughts would be a partial box (no bottom but maybe supporting strips of wood), and then just doing a flat sheet of plywood sandwiched into the box by strips of plywood to act as a ‘guide’. I could tie down boxes to that. To keep weight down. But I am not a carpenter. So wondering what ideas others can share. Pictures would be appreciated as they help me understand better. I have seen other completed builds but not really detailed process of the build.
