The D-Switch controller is still required, as it's the brains of the system and transmits the Bluetooth signal. For Apple CarPlay operation, we recommend storing the controller in the engine bay or routing the controller into the cabin and storing it out of sight if you don't plan to use the physical buttons regularly.

The fuse box handles power distribution, but the controller is what enables communication between the app, CarPlay, and your accessories.

If you own a D-Switch, simply download the D-Switch app and ensure you're running the latest firmware/software update. Once updated, Apple CarPlay compatibility is included at no additional cost.

While many apps can display information through CarPlay, Apple is very restrictive when it comes to apps that control vehicle accessories. We were able to obtain approval for D-Switch functionality within CarPlay, making it one of the only switch panel systems that can be controlled directly from your vehicle's touchscreen.

It's a huge advantage for users who want a more integrated OEM-style experience without relying solely on the physical controller or their phone.

Looks like a really nice, full featured system. I had a Auxbeam controller on my last rig and while adequate, it lacked some of the customization features and did not have CarPlay integration. When I outgrow my AUX switches, this is definitely a option I will be considering.
