So despite multiple sites saying the Dana 10043059 fits the JT Overland (i.e. non-Rubi, i.e. Dana 44 AdvanTEK M220 w/Trac-Lok), and ordering the same part number from Northridge and Quadratec (not blaming either btw), and receiving identical shafts (verified by part number on shaft)...the bolt pattern on the retaining plates does not line up. It appears to be a good 1/2" short on the long side, and about 1/8" short on the short side (pattern is not square). Carrier bearing (I think) also seems smaller in diameter.

As I mentioned, both are the same stamped part number, and interestingly they are both the same wrong number, but that number does not show up on Dana Spicer, so it's unclear if that's the problem.

Will update when I hear back from Northridge/Dana, but thought I would share. Made for a frustrating afternoon.

There are a couple issues here.

It is a possible that Dana mistakenly put the wrong bearing retainers on those shafts.

The other issue is, even if the retainer would fit, the bearings would likely be wrong.

From my notes:
All Sport JLs Both the M200 (D35) & the M220 (D44) rear axle uses set 10 bearings.
All Rubicon use set 80 bearings
All JT - Rubi and non-Rubi use set 80 bearings.

I've got an email into our contact at Jeep to check to see if the retainers are different between the set 10 & set 80 bearing retainers. Hopefully will know more by tomorrow.

Thanks - I just hope the shaft that fits is in stock...

I ran a set in my Rubicon, and can confirm that JT Rubicon and JL Rubicon shafts are interchangeable, but I don’t see narrow JT rear axles listed on the Dana/Spicer part page. Maybe the JL non-Rubicon shifts aren’t interchangeable with the JT non-Rubicon?

Yea, I noticed it wasn't listed...but it seems Northridge expects this to fit, as does Quadratec.

FWIW, the part number on the actual shaft is unknown:

The JL gets the M200 rear axle in Sport and Sahara trims, and I think all JTs have the M220. They may have different outers.

So unfortunate news...these definitely aren't compatible (JL only as suspected), and Dana currently does not have rears available.

I got word back from our guy at Jeep, he says he believes the retainers are the same between the narrow track and wide track axles regardless of the bearing size.

He did confirm the wheel bearing difference and actually clarified it a little:
All narrow track rear JL axles use the smaller bearing. All wide track JLs and all JTs use the set 80.

I'm passing that bit of info onto our e-commerce team and ask them to check our product descriptions and applications.

Saw that you guys updated within minutes. Nice to see the quick response. I ended up grabbing the last set of Revolution chromoly axles that you guys have...hopefully they show up soon. Thanks again for looking into it.

And they just arrived today. They look great, and retainer plate bolts look correct. Now I just have to wait for the new lug studs and stud installer to arrive from Amazon today.
