Just put in my new radio that has the climate control integrated into it. The dash display stays lit and so does the shifter light. You can hear the climate control click and then it turns them back on. The climate control is just one wire, so it wasn’t wired incorrectly. I got the red hood open symbol on the dash intermittently too (flashes once). I pulled the F32 fuse and nothing happened but I pulled the F105 (Integrated Center Stack (ICS)/Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning (IFVAC))and that stopped it. So now my climate control doesn’t work now (because I pulled F105) but I’m still able to start my jeep. Any solutions to get the display and shifter light off?

I assume this is one of those combined aftermarket radios with center stack controls?

If so, I guess I will be Captain Obvious and say you will probably have better luck with the vendor/OEM of the radio you bought to debug this.

Yes, I contacted them and they’re slow and so I want to solve this ASAP. Pulling and putting the F105 fuse in every time I use and don’t use my jeep is getting old. I was hoping to run into someone with the same issue who had fixed it.

Off the cuff, it appears the device is dragging the can bus down. With just a hardware change being the only variable, that just leaves the hardware assuming you did not hamfisted the install of the device. I would be surprised if any software or device input setting change will fix this.
