Last Thursday I went to work and home (60 mile round trip). Got home, loaded up the family and stopped at a stop light. All of a sudden every warning possible came on, and the chimes were non-stop. The radio went out, lost power steering and....I could not turn the ignition off at all.
Luckily I was about 2 miles from the dealer. I was able to shut it down there by dumping the clutch with the brakes on. The service advisor said there were 49 codes.
I got a call today that it is done and this is what was found.
Battery Voltage low, Reconfigured BCM, Tested Aux and main battery and they test good.
I drove the car all day trouble free. No reason the battery voltage should be low other than a bad battery or alternator.
I have a bad feeling this isn't the last time this happens. Anyone else had a similar issue?
