Last Thursday I went to work and home (60 mile round trip). Got home, loaded up the family and stopped at a stop light. All of a sudden every warning possible came on, and the chimes were non-stop. The radio went out, lost power steering and....I could not turn the ignition off at all.
Luckily I was about 2 miles from the dealer. I was able to shut it down there by dumping the clutch with the brakes on. The service advisor said there were 49 codes.

I got a call today that it is done and this is what was found.
Battery Voltage low, Reconfigured BCM, Tested Aux and main battery and they test good.
I drove the car all day trouble free. No reason the battery voltage should be low other than a bad battery or alternator.

I have a bad feeling this isn't the last time this happens. Anyone else had a similar issue?

Usually means the auxiliary battery (ESS battery) is bad.

Not in a Gladiator. I had issues with my Renegade (that I traded in recently) that were similar, some of the sensors for detecting a collision and detecting other vehicles close to me went haywire, and I ended up in a Dodge Ram loaner until they could fix it. Get this....they didn't have the tool they needed to install the part that was a problem and had to make me wait another week until another dealership could ship them the tool. I couldn't just drive the Jeep because like yours, the dash was lit up like a Christmas tree and basically undrivable until they fixed it.

I haven't had good luck with this service dept in the past and have had to lemon law a new car my wife bought. Hopefully the service dept has gotten their act together.

Only reason I buy there is because their sales dept has treated me well as I have purchased 4 cars in a row there.

Here we go again. Two days later the JT is doing the same exact thing.

Got the JT back yesterday and the dealer is pretty sure they found the problem after getting the manufacturer involved. Here is what my paperwork says for anyone who is interested or needs help in the future.

"Accessed Can C Star connectors and located ABS star connector. Vehicle became symptomatic while disturbing star connector harness. Carefully wiggle tested each star connector (LOL @ Wiggle tested).
Replaced Can C Star connector block and ABS star connector C7. Cleared all DTC's, road tested and no symptoms or DTC's have returned. "

I've only had it back for 24 hours but so far so good. Only time will tell.
If it's not fixed I'm getting rid of it. I refuse to deal with electrical problems.
Although, I'll just end up with another. This time a diesel and an auto trans.

Did this correct the issue. I had the dash light up like a Christmas tree a few days ago. Check engine light stayed on for a couple of starts, now nothing. No check engine light before getting to dealership. Dealership saw codes for voltage issues, checked both batteries and the alternator and found nothing. No issues for the last 3 days. 4000 miles on the clock.

Awesome, if I have any further issues I will have this for them to check. Thank you so much for posting your issue and fix for it.
Merry Christmas
