You do realize that tow truck drivers and road side assistance isn't specific to any one vehicle/dealer/insurance/company right? Any city of even a moderate size will have very busy tow trucks. Trust me, none of them are gaffing you off as they get paid big bucks for towing, they're just really busy. They generally take police/emergency requests first but other than that they try to get as many vehicles as you can. Trying to ding Jeep for that is like me being mad at Dole because a hot pocket burned my tongue....

Most tow truck operators are good at what they do. I found one POS that I would absolutely avoid in South Bend IN. Hamilton Towing... they are money hungry greedy POS.

The Dealer said it was the Aux battery and the Z fuse. Tried to tell me Jeep had a bad batch of batteries. They told me the same thing when the aux battery failed in my 2018 GC, the only thing is it didn't disable the whole car when it went

Just wanted to say that I had to get towed yesterday. The tow truck driver confirmed that they will put off an insurance tow if any other tow is available first because they get paid less by the insurance company if they summon the tow. ?‍♀ He recommended calling them directly every time and then sending the bill to the insurance company.

This sounds like exactly what I'm going through right now. I had it towed to a dealership and they said it was an open fuse array and that's what they repaired and sent me on my way, 14 miles later, I'm stopped at a stop light for 3 hours waiting on a tow. Truck died entirely, no hazards or anything. Gauges flickering, dash panel flickering, and hazards acting up. Only thing was my wipers weren't going crazy. Got towed to a second dealership yesterday and haven't received an update yet, but when trying to do a battery check and pull codes, there was zero power to the truck.

Is your gladiator wrapped? It almost looks like a bit of a purple/oil slick kind of thing, that's awesome!

Also, I'll give you they put different priorities on different types of tows. I was just saying that it's not Jeeps fault.

It is wrapped, thank you! ? And yes, absolutely not Jeeps fault, just like it's not really an insurance company's fault, just a bit annoying when they know you're, say, sitting at a red light unable to move out of the way of everybody and your hazards die like me yesterday. It took a cop calling me a tow to get someone there quickly versus my insurance roadside assistance.
